Bridal Shower Favors

So we’re in the mist of wedding seasons and I’m sure there are many bridal showers around the corner. I was feeling inspired after attending my own bridal shower earlier this month. Today I gathered some budget-friendly options that can work great for any colored theme parties!

Hand Cream:
Loccitane hand cream - v2
L’occitane and Crabtree & Evelyn carries some of my favorite hand creams. Their scents are lovely, easy to use and they have great options for those with sensitive noses. Both brands carries a variety of colored tubes, so it’s great when you’re going with a color theme.

L’occitane is regularly priced at $12cAD a tube. Sometimes they offer trios at $32CAD.

Crabtree & Evelyn is usually around $9CAD for a small tube, but they have frequent sales if you’re a platinum member (free to join and you get 20% off your next purchase). They also carry a larger set called “Hand Therapy Paint Tin” which usually contains about 12 tubes – usually assorted scents. The tin has a better value especially if you’re giving gifts to a lot of people, but just keep in mind that there will be assorted colors.

This mini L’occitane tin is something I stumbled across – it’s still available at some L’occitane locations (priced at $5.60). Cute for pink or yellow themes.

Pens & Markers:

Sharpies and colored Pens are also great budget-friendly gifts. They’re easy to find and they have a great assortment of colors. If you visit your local art store or craft stores they tend to have the biggest color variety.

Muji pens

I picked these pens up at Muji – writes really well. About $2ea.

Yummi Scented Candles

I found these adorable mini votives at Yummi Candles. They carry multiple scents – all very soft scents. You can pick one within your color theme or make your own custom labels to place on top. Other options is to check out Bath & Body works, Yankee Candles or even your local Winners.

Nail Polish:

Last but not least, nail polish! From $2 to $50 dollars, there is a nail polish for every budget. I’ve listed some of my tried and true nail polishes below. Overall I find these brands fairly consistent in terms of formula and quality.

Favorite drugstore polishes: Essie, China Glaze, Sally Hansen.
Favorite Mid range polishes: OPI & Formula X.
Favorite high-end polishes: Dior, Chanel, Illamasqua, NARS

Hope that helps!
