Today I’m featuring Truffle, a clear PVC pouch with leather trimming. I first discovered this pouch through Sabrina at The Beauty Look Book and I couldn’t help but swoon all over it. I wanted to purchase this for over a year now, but I was having trouble justifying $42.00USD plus $12USD for shipping (and potentially duties and taxes). One day I decided to pull the trigger and say goodbye to my money.

I’ve been a fan of clear makeup cases for some time now – but they’re quite hard to find. I’ve also been eyeing Anya Hindmarch’s In-Flight Patent Leather Trimmed Travel Case but the $250USD price tag makes it too hard for me to justify. I’ve also seen cute make up pouches by Marc Jacobs, Ted Baker and Kate Spade – not in clear plastic though.
After receiving this in the mail yesterday, I’m quite happy with my purchase. It’s perfect for travel or throwing in a large handbag. I love the clear portion because it beautifully displays makeup packaging. The leather detailing is nicely done with neat stitching and it features a high quality zipper. With that being said, I wanted to do a gift guide around The Clarity Clutch (in size Small) – which is one of their best sellers. I also want to note that the small size is TSA approved and measures at: 7 1/2” H X 9 3/4” W
This gift guide is meant for someone extra special in your life. Whether it’s for a sister or best friend, or you’re looking for birthday or bridesmaid gift ideas, here are my suggestions:
“Weekend Getaway” – Under $100
If you check out L’occitane they usually have gift sets available with travel-size items. One of my favorite scents from the line is Amande. This is also a perfect way to fill up your Truffle Clarity Clutch.
– 2.5 oz Almond Shower Oil
– 0.5 oz Almond Supple Skin Oil
– 1.7 oz Almond Milk Concentrate
– 0.3 oz Almond Delicious Hands
– 1.7 oz Almond Delicious Soap
“Pretty Please” – $100 and up
I featured a few beauty products here. Choose from your favorite lipstick, hand cream and nail polish.
“Lips & Hands” – $125 and up
A girl can never have too much lipstick! Go with a pretty nude and a pop of color.
“The Golden Standard” – $225 and up
A super luxurious gift. I’m thinking “glowing base and pretty lips”.
I hope that has inspired some of you! I always loved giving away makeup kits; I think it’s a great way to introduce someone to new products that you love. There are many cute make up pouches in the market – just pick something cute and fill it up with your favorite things.
Let me know if you want to see a gift guide featuring items under $100 (total value including the $42USD clutch).
